Staff at Hitchin Speech Therapy

Hitchin Speech Therapy is run by myself as an Independent practitioner. I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist since 1997, both in the NHS and more recently independently.
Emily Wilson

​I am a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) and gained my B.Sc (Hons) from Newcastle upon Tyne University in 1997.

I am a registered member of:-

  • The Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT)

  • The Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC)

  • The Association of Speech & Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).

  • In addition I have enhanced CRB checks and my details are on the CRB update service.

I undertake regular supervision and professional training. I am obliged to carry out Continued Professional Development (CPD) annually in order to register and practice as a Registered Speech and Language Therapist.

 

I set up independently in Hitchin in September 2016 and took over Hitchin Speech Therapy in April 2018 from Belinda Robertson who has developed it as a successful and well thought of Speech and Language Therapy practice. This I hope to continue in the years to come!
